2021 VAST Virtual Professional Development Institute

  Concurrent session presentation proposals for the virtual 2021 VAST Professional Development Institute are due by July 2.  Late proposals will be considered on a space-available basis.    Presenters will be notified regarding their proposals by mid-August.  Up to four presenters per presentation will be listed in the program.   

  Presenters WHO DO NOT register for the Virtual PDI and WHO DO NOT pay the registration fee by September 24 will be dropped from the program.  This includes presenters 1 through 4.

  Presenters can choose to do a live presentation or a pre-recorded presentation. 

  Presenters will be sent a link in September to a digital release form (accepting this is required for presentation).

  The day and time schedule of live presentations will be posted in early October.

  A commercial exhibitor pays the standard exhibit fee and pays $150.00 per concurrent session presentation.  Not-for-profit exhibitors must  pay the standard exhibit fee but DO NOT pay the $150.00 per concurrent session presentation fee.

  You need the following information to complete the presenter proposal form:

• ·      Name, School/Institution/Business, email address, and phone number for each presenter
• ·      Are you a presenter-attendee, commercial exhibitor, or not-for-profit exhibitor?
• ·      Do you wish to present a live or prerecorded presentation?
• ·      Title of your presentation (maximum of 60 characters and spaces)
• ·      Presentation description for the program (maximum of 500 characters and spaces)
• ·      Grade levels your presentation is suitable for
• ·      Content areas of your presentation
• ·      Titles of other presentations that you or your co-presenters have submitted
• ·      Description of items teachers will need to purchase to carry out the activity/lab (excluding basic lab supplies, glassware, etc.)
